Kaiser Permanente

Kaiser Permanente is a long standing provider of quality health care services with a variety of plans to choose from. Coverage is available in the states of California, Colorado, the District of Columbia, Georgia, Hawaii, Maryland, Ohio, Oregon, Virginia,  and Washington. When selecting an individual plan from Kaiser Permanente, you are able to choose your own primary care physician to ensure you get the care you need.

Kaiser Permanente has made it convenient to access services by placing pharmacies, labs, and X-rays in most of their participating health care facilities and medical centers. They also have an extensive Member Services section available online for physician look-up, medical and drug encyclopedias, and your personal account information.

They have set up their website as a center for encouraging health care and an overall health-centered lifestyle a key element of their service to members. There are also online tools to refill prescriptions and schedule appointments through their site. Kaiser Permanente has made their site a resource for all things health care, including locating classes in your area, providing online programs, fitness and eating ideas, and more.

Depending on the state you live in, there are several types of plans from which to choose. California, D.C., Oregon, Virginia, and Maryland coverage options include Copayment plans, Deductible plans, and HSA-qualified deductible plans. Colorado and Ohio applicants can select either a deductible plan or an HSA-qualified deductible plan. Georgia has the choice of Classic plans, Essential plans, Advantage plans, or HSA plans. Hawaii residents have four copayment plans to choose from, and Washington state has three deductible plans, the Gold, Silver, or Bronze. So no matter where you live, a plan to suit your needs is available.
