HealthPartners is a Minnesota-based integrated medical system, which has grown to become the largest nonprofit, consumer-governed health care organization in the U.S. Providing care, coverage, research, and education, HealthPartners seeks to improve the health of their members, patients and the community at large. They offer plans for employers, as well as individuals and families.

Started in 1954 as a cooperative, HealthPartners has maintained its community focus, and remains a nonprofit organization, the largest of its kind in the country. HealthPartners has the largest contract network in Minnesota with over 15,000 physicians at nearly 4,000 clinics. With a regional network of over 38,000 health care providers in Minnesota, western Wisconsin, South Dakota and North Dakota, HealthPartners gives even more options with their recent addition of “virtuwell” telemedicine care.

The HealthPartners Medical Group consists of 70 medical and dental clinics in the Minneapolis-St. Paul greater metropolitan area, and includes 17 pharmacies and a mail order pharmacy. The group also has 780 total physicians, 350 primary care physicians, and 60 dentists. HealthPartners hospitals include Lakeview Hospital in Stillwater, MN, Hudson Hospital and Clinics in Hudson, WI, Westfields Hospital in New Richmond, WI, and Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN.

Use HealthPartners’ large network of providers for discounted rates or the out-of-network provider of your preference.

The HSA-qualified option from HealthPartners, Empower plans offer 100 percent coverage after deductible on all services covered by the Traditional plan. Two deductible choices are available: $3,050 or $5,950, both of which have the same benefits and the ability to open a Health Savings Account. Premiums are higher with these plans, though your tax advantages will pay off by using your HSA to pay for medical costs. Preventive care is available for no charge before you meet the deductible.
